GMAT is a computer adaptive test (CAT) which assesses the analytical, writing, quantitative and verbal skills of students.
The maximum score in the GMAT is 800. Typically, students should aim for a minimum score of 600 to succeed in getting admission in a reputed university. Ivy League colleges like Harvard and Stanford typically require scores above 720.
The GMAT is developed and conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). This council sets the questions, conducts the test and sends the result to those who have taken the test.
Though there is no educational requirement to take the GMAT exam, students should be above 18 years to take the test.
The GMAT exam consists of four sections:
• Analytical Writing Assessment
